Unit Heads: How-To: Final Acknowledge a Unit Survey

2 min read

When a survey of a unit assessment has been completed and signed off by the assessment manager for that unit, the unit head (aka OU head) will typically be notified.

⚠️
Once it has been final acknowledged, no further changes can be made to an survey.

If you are the unit head, follow these steps to final acknowledge and thereby complete the survey:

Instructions using the Old UI

  1. Log into Isora GRC.
  1. On the Open tab of the Assessment page, expand the name of the assessment series.

  1. You may want to click the “Review the Report” link to view the survey answers first and be sure they are accurate. If not, then contact your assessment manager (for your organizational unit) or an Isora GRC administrator to unacknowledge and change the survey. Otherwise, click Acknowledge.

  1. The survey changes to the completed state. If there are no pending child surveys underneath it, then it will disappear from the Open tab and you would have to go to the Complete tab to view the report again.

Instructions using the New UI

  1. Log into Isora GRC and go to the Assessments page (it will usually take you there automatically).
  1. On the Units area, use expand the series name and individual assessment name to locate the survey you are interested in. Then click on the survey name (the name of the targeted unit) or anywhere on that row in the table to access the survey.
  1. Note: If any child units (of the unit you’re working on) are still waiting for final acknowledgment, then you won’t be able to final acknowledge this survey yet.
  1. You can see a preliminary version of the report, based on how the survey was completed.
  1. If you are satisfied with the report, you can click the button to Acknowledge.
  1. If any changes need to be made, you can let the assessment manager know and they will have to “unacknowledge” the survey to reopen it for editing.
