FAQ: LDAP Login Error Message But I'm Not Using LDAP

1 min read

Problem

You attempt to log into Isora GRC and see an error indicating “LDAP server is not responding.”

You can see this error even if you’re not using LDAP. It simply means that the password was entered incorrectly. If a user forgot his or her password, a superuser should log in and reset the user’s password.

This error could also occur if no password was set for the user. See also: How-To: Add People and Define Their Roles in Isora GRC

Solution

Correct the mistaken password. If the user has forgotten the password, a superuser should change it for them.
